Poor babies - to be so stressed and scared that they couldn't control their body functions. Poor you having to drive in a car with the stench. Poor kitty to be getting a bath. Poor you for having to be the one to do it. But thankfully, animals live in the moment, so the bath is already forgotten and you are forgiven. And it IS nice to have them clean.

That looks amazingly good! Something about beef and broccoli goes together in a weirdly satisfying way. And your PLATE - it's so CHEERFUL. Mine are plain white, so they're really bland - but the up side is that they go with just about any placemat or table cloth I want to put under them!

Aren't they DARLING! You've got a thing for black cats. Good. They're over represented in the shelters, which is stupid. There's a stigma attached to their fur color, which they can't do anything about. And it's what's in their hearts that matters. These two look like they'll be wonderful family members for years to come.

Nope. No way to sleep once the cat decides it's time to wake up. They're kind of persistent in that way. He's lovely. I know he's quite elderly, so there's a certain kind of meloncholy that comes with photographing him, but in future years, these photos of these moments will be precious. Love him. Love him a LOT. Even when he's being a pest.

Oh my gosh - the color contrast here is fantastic! My peppers are always so shrimpy and sad looking. I've about given up on every actually harvesting one. This one is beautiful. You obviously have a green (and red) thumb!
