I was just about to compliment on the fabulous photos because are are perfect! I really like how you added each name to the photo, beautifully done-oh and the distressing on the bg-great, reminds me of water bubbles
OMG Pat... I can't even.... I'm just so in love with this!!!! LOVE the color, LOVE the texture, LOVE the frames, LOVE the names you include, LOVE Orcas, LOVE the whole darn thing! Love that you gave Granny the priority spot on top there, as she was the leader of the pack.... er pod. Fabulous page!
This is an amazing subject and even though they are not technically your photos, they are photos of the whales that were part of your experience so that is awesome! This was a great sketch for all these photos also. BTW - I'm deathly afraid of BLUE whales and since there's not one in sight on your page, I love this layout! ;0)
I've been trying to get around to getting these pictures scrapped for a while.
For the record - I did not take them. I pulled them off of the Resident Whales site, but I wanted to include portraits of the identified whales in our group from the whale watching tour we did in Seattle in 2014.
Granny has since passed, and I think either Echo or Oreo has as well, I'll have to check. I remember thinking, "oh, she was pregnant when we saw her ..." when I heard the announcement of her death.
Anyway - this is going to go into my Seattle book.

For the Monthly Sketch Challenge #4
The polaroid frames are little fold overs. I cut the paper 4 x 8, then scored and folded it at 4". I cut the photo holes out and lined them with clear packaging, which I bumped up with some alcohol ink to make it look a little watery. Put the photo inside the frame, folded it down, glued everything up tight, and put a label on the front. It wasn't hard, but they've been done for a while and I needed to get them off my desk and on a project.
