What? She told you to be quiet? Doesn't sound like great bedside manner to me. But then, it IS kind of hard to hear a heartbeat, so maybe she's just new to the whole thing and wants to be sure everything is ok. But seems to me she could have been more polite about it. You ARE the one paying her, so technically she is WORKING for YOU.
When I took the Doll to the vet today it was hard to keep her on the table to get her weighed and she never did settle down. After they weighed her and took her temperature we had quite a wait for a Dr. that was a sub. I petted her until we had a pile of hair on the table and she was having none of it. She jumped off the table so I just put her in her crate and she relaxed somewhat. Then the Dr. comes in and tells me what to do and tells me to be quiet during the exam and I can ask questions after. She listened to her heart and when I spoke to Doll to comfort her she told me to be quiet. She listened to her heart three different times and even when we did talk I couldn't wait to get myself and Doll out of there. Needless to say I will be avoiding that Dr!
