Class kits, with samples done and everything boxed and in one place, ready to go for my students. When I get to this point, I'm inspired to clean some drawers out and get my RAK boxes finished up for the month so they can be mailed as soon as the month rolls over. That will get EVERYthing up off the floor for another month.

That tag in the front was kind of a pain. I had an inspiration for a tag that was a simple idea IN MY HEAD, but I managed to mangle FIVE tags before I got it to work like I had envisioned it. I was all trying to figure out how to use a breyer - because IN MY HEAD that was the tool for the job. And then I was trying to use white paint because IN MY HEAD that was the right medium for the job. It ended up being as simple as DIRECT INK TO PAPER. Sometimes the simplest things just evade me. I felt like an idiot when I was done.

Oh - and when I look at this photo, I'm REALLY inspired to call the contractor and get a hard date fixed for the kitchen and utility room remodel so that I can get new flooring through the house. This carpet is really awful, but I'm not complaining because it doesn't show dirt or stains (too bad) and I don't worry about spilling stuff on it because it's scheduled to be replaced this year. And it keeps my feet warm ... so that's something to be thankful for.

I'm pretty sure that I'm going to put laminate in these two back bed rooms - just because it'll be easier to keep clean and I won't have to worry about spills and glue and paper and stains and dropped ink and glitter and and and...

ETA ~ I just got off the phone with the contractor, and he will be here on October 23. So now I'm going to HAVE to make a final decision about the floors - otherwise I'll be living on hard concrete.
