Here at last is the first page I've done in a MONTH! Whew, I don't know where October has gone, but November and December are already shaping up to be just as hectic...

Here's my little pool princess laying out chillaxin' at our pool this past summer. She is quite the little pool-lover this summer. Soon as we say 'pool' she runs and grabs her swimsuit. And we really have to watch her because she wants to just GO. And then when she's done, she's DONE. This was about 10 minutes before DONE. She got out and was laying on the lawn chairs and she looked like such a So Cal girlie I had to snap a picture. Little ham... LOL!

This was my idea LAST month for my ugly papers I received, but I just couldn't get it together in time. The papers are the bright flower paper and the 'grass' paper behind the photo and the brown/red flower paper I used for the banners. Embellies were the red stripe ribbon and the silver 'live life' arrow. This came together in an hour last night after I just started cutting paper hoping inspiration would strike. Got the LO idea from Studio Calico's blog, a cute LO called "Fantastic!"

This is also for my October Music Inspiration Challenge. I got the song "We Turn Red" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers from Amanda. I'm not normally a Chilli Peppers fan, but the phrase "We Got a swimming pool" jumped out at me immediately so that's where the inspiration came from. I used part of the line in my journaling too.

Also for Sports and Play (play), Girls Only, Hoarders and World Smile Day (10/6).
