Pocket letter for our swap group. Our theme was favorite papers. I know this is going to sound bizarre but it was difficult deciding on favorite papers. I pulled out several different paper groupings, I put them back, I asked my partner more questions. I decided one of my favorite papers is watercolor paper...it is heavy in weight, can be die cut and heat embossed without ripping; it takes any medium. I love it. Also I used BFS Happy Accident as my background, fabulous paper. I used clear gesso on my background when dried I added watercolor using dye inks. The embossed die cut leaves I layered with vellum leaves. I added cheese cloth between postage stamp layers. The keys and barn stars I added acrylic paint and sprayed with water to get it to run in the crevices. The numbers I used acrylic paint and alcohol inks. The bee is Renea Bouquets. The frame around the bee is hand bent with added paint and foil in places. I created the leaf stems with jewelry wire. I added my usual glass and micro beads. TFL
