A layout of my middle daughter. She has been through some aweful times with school and bullies and low self esteem. She wanted to be a vet nurse but her vet retired and she couldn't find another to take her on, so she set her heart on the Navy. She used to be a navy cadet when she was 13 and 14 (hence her uniform already) and her commanding officer said she was meant to do that life way back then. This February she went to enlist but was told to go away an put on weight. She only weighed 44kg and they told her she need to be at least 60kg. They gave her 6 months. Determined to prove she could do it after a few months of hesitation she hired a personal trainer and bulked up to the required weight. In August they took her back for an interview and then 2 days later her fitness test and on 17.11.17 she got her enlistment date - 18.3.18! I am so proud of her and I know she will be an awesome boatswain. Her determination is a reminder that we can all achieve anything if we put our hearts and mind to it,
