I have to say this is one of my favorite cards I've created for Christmas. I originally thought of making the card in the shape of a mitten by itself and having the fold at the top, but then I thought the recipient wouldn't be able to stand it up. I drew up the pattern and then set it aside for about a week before doing something with it. In my pile of pictures I've saved of Christmas card designs I ran across one made similar to this and attached to a card base. I decided to go with that look instead. I was originally going to do traditional red and green but decided on blue and white since I have those lace/trim colors. I traced my pattern on K and Company's Visions of Christmas paper, cut it out, inked up the edges and glued down my laces & trims with hot glue. Added some pearls to pretty it up a bit.

Special thanks to Laura (LauralsAttic)for the blue fuzzy trim near the top, the crisscross trim and the white lace.
Blue embroidered lace, satin flowers and blue and gold trim at the bottom are from Pamela Joy Boutique on FB.
White pleated trim at the top was from now closed Gone Artsy.

On the card base I stamp embossed the snowflakes using TH Blueprint Sketch and Stampendous Kaleidoscope embossing powder. Stamps are Impression Obsession Winter Trees (phrase) and Leigh Hannan Snowflakes. I've had them for several years. Die cut bottom right is from Amazon.

Thank you so much for stopping by my gallery! I appreciate all the support.
