The front and back of the mugs are Bill and me as teenagers. In one he had his head shaved. He had just started with the Miami Police department and back then, the academy was like boot camp - rigorous physical training, classes and tons of homework. I used to type his notes every day because they had to be typed and turned in. Many of the classes were taught by representatives from the FBI.

When they started as new police cadets in the academy in Miami, they had to shave their heads when they started but were allowed to grow it back out within reason.

We opened presents at Joes house (on our property) - Joe decorated the kitchen cabinets with individual snowflakes he made - no 2 are alike.
