3D Remote Control Gift Card Box

We wanted to give our son several gift cards for a 'milestone' birthday to purchase the new HD TV he'd just started saving for. I wanted a special way to present the gift cards, rather than just tuck them into a card, and this 'remote control' slide box was the perfect solution. I purchased the .svg file online and cut it out of slightly textured 80# black cardstock on my Silhouette Cameo. I used the cut-out cardstock as a template to create the 'buttons,' which I printed on smooth white 60# paper and trimmed to fit underneath the cut-out cover. I made a simple, narrow fold-over card out of matching black cardstock, with a white liner for the text and graphics, and attached that to the plain back of the remote. He loved it! :)
