This took me 3 hours (as most of my cards average, 2 to 4 hours, ugh!).

Started with Wild Asparagus Noel Paisley(?) paper. Then added a beautiful red cardstock I found today at the Memories store, and cut to fit a three inch-ish border (to be two-ish after tearing). Tore the edge off, sanded the edges and entire surface lightly and inked with red Distressing Ink. Also inked the edges.

Used Making Memories "Cajun" red ribbon (with white stitching) for the border on the left. Used Stampendous "Merry Christmas" stamp with same red Distressing Ink (by Ranger, forget the exact color name right now).

Added S.E.I. buttons, sewn in with a deep red embroidery floss. Added a Karen Foster sticker (from 2003) and sanded the edges and inked the edges (used MM distressing kit). Also sanded the entire sticker lightly and inked lightly.

Powdered the back because I want it to be 3D. Cut a mat of the same red paper (roughly to fit) using Deckle edged scissors. Inked edges with red Distressing Ink. Adhered mat to card, then using MM foam 3D squares, adhered the Karen Foster sticker to mat. I wanted to give it a little extra texture at the top, so I used some more MM ribbon (Sheer, this time) and tucked in between mat and sticker.

Embossed same red cardstock and then hand inked in the embossed part with same red distressing ink. Cut to fit and adhered to corners.

Added 3 MM snaps in antiqued gold, and finally added (InkADinkADo?) stamp at the bottom, postage date stamp.

I think that's it. ;)
