Elizabeth, this is so sweet! My grandmother made me a quilt with squares of the Holly Hobby girl in various fabrics. I still have it. Your Lovely creation reminded me of that.
Very cute Elizabeth. Its sad that she isnt wanted. Some people just arent into crafted items, unless theyre the crafter. I can live with people throwing away my cards. Hopefully theyre enjoyed for a few days first...lol Once I give away other crafted items I never or I rarely ever see them again. Myself, I dont do scrapbooking but I do love the idea of decorating photo albums and I think it should be illegal for anyone to throw out photo albums! :o) Ro
Oh my goodness Elizabeth, this is simply beautiful and I can't believe you made this so long ago. I can't say enough how beautiful this is and how creative this is. You won't believe this but I bought a little doll at a craft several years ago and your piece is such a reminder to me. Love this collective look as this would certainly hang above my special treasures I keep dear to me

This is adorable! You call your sister right now and tell her to send it to you. If you don't have wall space I know others that do (including me)! I used to use those hoops for cross stitch frames. I made one for my SIL - don't think she ever hung it either.
You did such beautiful work on this creative piece. I do remember when the embroidery hoop was all the rage. Please do not discard this beautiful piece of art it will always be a piece of you. Donate it to a charity or to someone who would cherish your work.
Beautiful, I remember those as well.... how many of you remember tri-chem paints, in the tubes? My aunt who has passed had many different colors. I created my children's first Christmas ornaments with them almost 37 years ago!!!!
O I remember when the hoops were the big rage! This is so creative & beautiful & I hope not trash but to the Goodwill or some place that it can find a new home! Amazing how our interests evolve into something else, mine was cross stitching!:)
I thought I would share something with you that I made oh, probably 30 years ago! I had forgotten all about it. My sister sent me this picture to my cell phone and asked me if I wanted it back. She, for some reason, thought it was my mom's, but I remembered I had made that for her. I don't think she ever hung it on her wall. Looking back. ..it just wasn't her cup of tea. She said it was going out to the curb to be picked up if I didn't want it. I have no wall space for it so I guess it's bye-bye.
Anyway, I used a big quilting hoop on it. I used to make all sorts of crafts before I got into scrapbooking in 2006.
