Oh, ummm, not quite sure how I would handle a glass bottom boat, let alone being able to compose myself to snap pics! Glad you got these and made such a nice page for them!!
I remember thinking on my Hawaii vacation that I would have liked to audio record all the different tours so I could remember the information. Glad I am not the only one! :) I really like the sequins and jewels.
That looks like a lot of fun. I have never been on a glass bottom boat before. And it seems like that the water was so clear, so you could see right to the bottom which is super cool! Fabulous page!
7 photos all on one page and they're not tiny?! You're the Queen of Scrapping; wear your crown proudly! BTW - Nice page! Love the photo placement and sequins and that you were still able to include journaling!
I'm laughing so hard. I am working on the same part of the glass bottom boats. We have the exact same photos!!! Hahaha! Now, I love the sequins. Never thought to use them but.....I like the look. The strip journaling is perfect. Well done. I hope mine comes out just as great.
You nailed the color matching on this one! The color in the photos and the background paper are perfect! I love the sequin and brad bubbles on each side - very creative! Silver Springs was home to a lot of movies, even Doris Day's movie, "Glass Bottom Boat" was filmed there. They used to have a big museum with film clips playing and memorabilia and posters from the old movies and tv shows. I loved that museum and am very disappointed they took out that important part of Silver Springs history and replaced it with a place with snakes. No thank you!
Took lots of pictures of the underwater scenes from the glass-bottom boat. Wish I could remember all of the narrative. Used journal strips since I didn't have a lot of room because of all the pictures. Old stash - pps, sequins, brads, alphas.
Journal - The glass-bottom boat tours have operated in one form or another since 1878. Our boat captain guides us to several different springs including Mammoth spring, the Abyss & Blue Grotto. We see a dugout canoe over 400 year old made of pine or cypress. Many movies & TV shows were filmed here - Tarzan movies, Creature from the Black Lagoon, the TV show Sea Hunt & more.
