I am so sorry for your loss, Karen. Sometimes creating for others helps heal our hearts in some odd way. I'm sure your sweet friend loved this - it's just lovely!

Hi, Karen, I know you've had a most difficult time but hope knowing others are thinking of you brings some comfort. Your card for ML is beautiful. Hope you will be able to do more creations and share them with your sb.com friends.
Hi Karen! This is such a wonderful and thoughtful card for Marylou. Everything about it is absolutely gorgeous and so special. I want to also tell you that I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers, my friend. I am so happy that you got to spend the whole month of May with your mom. My heart goes out to you - I am so sorry for your loss. Sending healing hugs across the miles.
Karen, so sorry for all your losses but sending blessings that time will help smooth the sharp edges of the grief. Your card is so beautifully vintage. I know that ML treasures it. I hope that you will feel drawn back to this community and to let your creative gifts blossom. Be well my friend...…………….Donna
Oh my precious sister, I love this card, all the layers & image. You know how I love to look over the cards you make & this is such a treasure, thank you! I know it hasn't been easy for you & we all miss you, but totally understand!:)
Dear friends and visitors~ It has been several months since I posted anything. I have had more grief in my family, as we lost my mother in mid-July : ( I will defer explanations -only to say I'm so glad I got to be with her the entire month of May~
I'm sharing with you today a birthday card I made for Meggies nana; Marylou~ She is a dear dear friend. I was so grateful I had a bit of creativity a few months ago and so had it made ahead of time. Using: A great image from Etsy (Suziqu @ Etsy) some white corrugated board, lots of distressed papers from my stash, washi tape and a bow. The image was trimmed with antique-edged scissors and some white paint. Thank you ever-so-much for stopping in
