gorgeous!!!! I'm loving how you placed one of my fav images behind the window panes! and the corners balance the page perfectly!!!! Oh and the clock is delightful!!!!! sadly, I'm not the 'linda'...hahaha (I have no idea how you gals keep straight who kindly gifted you what...that is so sweet!)
I think you know how much I admire the beautiful details, colors and embellishments you add to each pocket. I really like all of them and the little scissors are cute. Elizabeth you are a master at PL's
Seeing the whole PL letter is truly stunning. I love the finished edge and the details POP and blend so well into the next pocket. I love your work Elizabeth and always look forward to the next one.
Each pocket is so beautiful filled with individual themes but they all go together so well. I think I like the third one best with a very close second the window
Why are you making it so difficult for Rebecca & I to pick a fave? Even before I read her comment I too leaned towards #8, but those corner dies on 3 & 7 are calling to me too! Love the softness of the PL & how you did Linda's name. You rocked this GF, beautiful!;)
This month I participated in a pocket letter swap for Reneabouquets hosted by Donna (Bonprof). I made this for Linda Bell. This is also being entered in the Mood Board Challenge for Reneabouquets. The themes are Shabby Chic, Rustic, and Farmhouse.
First, special thanks to:
Donna for the butterflies on the margin, the tiny butterfly in pocket 9, tiny keys in pocket 6 Lisa (Iluvcats) for the doily diecut in pocket 1 Lois (Granny2One) for the corner diecuts in pockets 3 and 7 Marylou (Meggie's Nana) for the honeycomb diecut in pocket 5 Kelly (KVRLVN) for the diecut leaves in pocket 5 and the lovely window in pocket 9 Carri (Caletts) for the pink prills in pocket 6
Reneabouquets products are all the butterflies, Beautiful Board hanger in pocket 1, scissors in pocket 2, lace in pocket 4, cabochon in pocket 8 and rose in pocket 9.
The pretty frame was made by Faith Chesney Griffin on FB and I painted it up a bit with Liquid Pearls.
The spoon handle pendant in pocket 4 is from Hobby Lobby and I used Patina and alcohol inks on it. I also used Patina on the scissors, little key in Pocket 1 and a little on the large key in pocket 6.
The green paper is Paper Studio's Kirby Teesdale Studio collection. The upper layer is Prima's Tales of You and Me. I used Versamark around the edges and heat embossed with Stampendous Shabby White embossing enamel. The image under the window frame is from Pinterest as well as the bucket of flowers in pocket 2 and the clock in pocket 1. Lace on the left margin was from Pamela Joy Boutique on FB. Isn't it gorgeous stuff??!!
On the corner and window diecuts I rubbed Tsukineko Dew Drops Chalk Ink pads using Turquoise Gem, Red Brick and Pumpkin Spice to give them the farmhouse rustic look.
I made the rose in the center using water color paper, spritzing each piece with water, wrinkling each piece up, flattening out and tapping directly onto the Tim Holtz distress ink pads, then put them together with a little brad.
Thank you so much for visiting my gallery. I have added close-ups to see detail a bit better.
