I decided to make a garden journal mini-album that could be filled with pressed flowers and seeds that can be gifted to a friend. My grandmother loved her garden and as I was looking through some pictures taken in her garden I Wished that I had some heirloom seeds of the flowers and vegetables that she grew. That inspired me to think about making a special little book of flowers and seeds and garden memories.

I used a graphic 45 box and tags and covered them with paper from the G45 Bloom Collection. I made the album from chipboard and paper and then added glycine envelopes that can be used for pressed flowers or seeds. Each tag has decorative paper on one side and the back side is blank so I can add some tiny herbarium samples, photos, and journaling that will be protected by the glycine pocket. The album that I made is a perfect fit for the box so I was not able to do much in the way of Cover decoration. The top of the box is decorated with a combination of homemade flowers and rosebuds from Wild orchid. One of my favorite details is the Prima bezel and cabachon where I added a beautiful flower image from the Graphic 45 Bloom paper. I had so much fun doing this one that I decided to do another larger garden memories heirloom album that will be a bit larger.
Stay tuned for that post. I have not added this to my blog yet, but I plan to do a post including the second one with some instructions an how I put the book together.

Thanks for looking. I sincerely appreciate your comments.
