WOW! I love all the details on this - the way you did the title, the embellies, the photo! AWESOME! Love your stitch idea- I'll definitely try that one!
She's darling! Beautiful take on the sketch. I especially like your color choices. I've been putting off doing this sketch, but this is wonderful inspiration! Lovely work you do! And, thank you for the reminder that you don't actually have to use needle and thread to get that great stitched look! It looks wonderful here! :)
Beautiful pic and page Monica, love the faux stitching technique ( I might have to give that a try myself),the paper piecing on the side looks great, love the colours together TFS :)
AWESOME! Goes to my favs! Aren't you just scrappin away! Everywhere I turn I see a LO by you! WTG! keep up the fabulous job!( Thanks for sharing your sewing technique! For sure will use it!)
This page is for Scrappedupmom's Challenge. Sketch #4 This is my dd again. 100% pure girl, yes she is. I found this sketch very difficult to complete. But after I got pass all the paper piecing on left side of the page I was okay. The rose was dry embossed and sanded. The hearts are not really sewn, it's a faux technique I use in most of my pages, where I punch holes in the paper to replicate the sewing action then I connect the dots with my maker. ***TFL***
