This card was created for a special friend going through some difficult times in life. She's my crafty bestie and although I'm always happy to be a shoulder she can lean on, I know she will appreciate this heartfelt card. My goal this year is to also use up more of my paper. I'm constantly buying paper (because I'm a lover and hoarder of so many brands!) and I've had this Kaisercraft Rosabella paper pad in my stash that needed some love. I used an A2 Neenah card and cut strips of paper from the photographic rose paper and the polka dots, alternating the strips. My heat embossed sentiment features Scrapbook.com premium clear embossing ink with Nuvo Copper embossing powder and my Hugs word is a die cut that I created by stamping a Unity Stamp image, scanning with my Brother Scan N Cut and creating a silhouette die cut in black with a duplicate patterned die cut offset. This was a really easy card to make and you can create a similar design with whatever word dies you have on hand and your die cut machine. My word die cut is also popped up on foam adhesive for dimension. Have a crafty day and encourage someone!
