My first slimline.
I've been slacking, haven't had the energy/mojo to get things done. Watched a FB live with Ange McKay in Canada as she was putting together some kit cards, and I mentioned my lack of attention to cards for a while. Being the school teacher she is, she promptly held up one of the cards, "here's your sketch; layer, focal piece, banner, get to it! Email me when you're done."
Ok, then! I haven't had a school assignment in... multiple decades.
I wanted to make a slimline, having never attempted one before. I also wanted to use some new papers I got. Not exactly the "sketch," but it worked for the simple anniversary card I wanted to make.
I also made an envelope for the card using the remnant piece from the 12x12 patterned paper I'd used after searching online for a template or guide (I used a free envelope template from Jenny Card Designs on Facebook).
Just a note, embossing folders were not made for slimline cards. ;)
