Like the photos and your journaling. For some reason, the words that I remember to Zippy was Zip a Dee Do Dah, my oh my what a wonderful day that Louis Armstrong did. However it seems to also be called the Song of the South. Anyway apparently several different wordings on the song which now has become controversial. Both wordings seem fine with me.

Boy do I remember that song! If my mind is functioning, I believe it was also the theme song for the Mickey Mouse Club with Annette Funicello and --to my 10 yr old self---several really cute boys!! Awesome memories from your journal...
