I just received this “Cute Boots” stamp set from Spellbinders, and it's even more adorable than I expected.
It's really perfect for the rainy weather we've been having here lately and super cute to boot! (See what I did there?!)
I really wanted to make one of those cards with the sliding beads that look like rain, but alas I have no beads, so a shaker with sequins it is!
I used distress inks to make a stormy background, and then gave these cuties a rainbow attitude with some bright alcohol marker coloring.
I forgot to take a picture of the inside sentiment. It says, “when life gives you rainy days wear cute boots and jump in puddles”. How fun is that?!
I started out with plans to only make one card, but after the first turned out so well, I made several more. I just know there are a lot of people who can use a bit of sunshine right now, and it's not always easy to find cheerful sentiments that aren't for sympathy or get well cards.
Okay, now I'm ready to send these off. I just need some stamps...
