Unfortunately my mom wasn’t feeling well enough to go out to dinner so it was just me and ny dad at Barcelona, our favorite local Spanish restaurants. We always get the croquette appetizers and seafood paella. This time I added the white sangria. What makes this location extra-special is the wonderful and warm customer service. My dad made a birthday toast and, at the end of our meal, complementary dessert was delivered to our table. And I always rave about the bread and never leave the restaurant without a free loaf. (It really is the yummiest! So soft and slightly chewy surrounded by a hearty, crispy crust. When you tear it apart, you can hear the crunch and the insides soak up just enough olive oil. Mmmmm!)
