Journaling reads: Sarah’s piano teacher, Mrs. Angie Mankin, required her students to write an original composition each year. The composition would then be sent in to the local music club to be judged and hopefully sent on up to the next level. In 2004, Sarah’s went all the way to the state level and she won first place in the State of Georgia, Junior Division. Her song was entitled “The Wanderer” and she performed it for the local music club that May. She was fifteen years old at the time.

I've had this page done for over a year and it just keeps getting pushed back in the "to post" album. Anyhow, I used a lot of really old products here. I believe a lot of it is K & Company, including Life's Journey and Margo. I used the tiny attacher to attach the program at the top of the page and it slides into a pocket behind the photo. I cut the beige bg pp and then inked in brown and sewed it down to the page with my sewing machine. The scalloped border was cut with decorative scissors. The edges of the photo are sanded. The button frame was pre-made. The lace is some from my Mama's stash. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by :)
