A layout of my son. He is a volunteer fire fighter and after the terrible storms in January 2019, he was working on clearing up the mess on a roof and slipped and put his hand through a tile. Whilst waiting for the ambulance to come, he had his fellow firefighters take a photo to capture the image as he said Mum will kill me if I dont get photos. I have trained them well. He had to have surgery and months of rehab but the surgeon was pleasantly surprised that he was able to move his finger, having severed nerves and tendons and he said it was all down to playing video games. He played Xbox as he recovered, using the controller with the injured hand days after surgery. That and the fact he was not going to be told he could no longer be part of the RFS. Made of tough stuff my kids.
