The parameters for this week's Craft Roulette show on Youtube were:
Project: Gatefold card
Colors: Blue, green + 1 (I used goldenrod/dark yellow)
Element: In or under the tree
Random: Tied

For this card, I cut a piece of smooth white cardstock in half and folded it to make a gate fold card. I sprayed the front of the card with some sprays in my stash through a tree ring stencil in my stash.

I then used the Stitched Tree Border die set from Lawn Fawn to cut out 3 pieces of paper--twice with plain white cardstock and once with some white glitter cardstock in my stash. The front layer of trees were made out of one of the white plain cardstock and the sparkly glitter cardstock that were glued together. I then glued the 3rd layer of white cardstock behind as well. I then trimmed the edges of the tree borders so that they would fit on the card base and then cut them down the middle so that it will be able to open.

I then used one the tree leaves dies from the Lawn Fawn set to die cut several types of paper--some Yupo paper that had been previously colored with green alcohol ink, some leftover stamped and colored cardstock, and yellow patterned paper. These were all glued behind the tree limbs. After all of this dried, I glued it onto the card front and then I trimmed the edges of the tree borders so they were flush with the card front.

I then turned to the tag-I have some tiny tags in my stash and stamped a sentiment from PinkFresh Studios with Rainforest VersaFine Clair and then heat embossed it with Holographic embossing powder. I then directly inked around the edges with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. A piece of blue and white baker's twine was tied onto the tag. I then attached it with Instant Dimension Foam Tape from Altenew.

To finish the card, I added some sequins from Catherine Pooler's Portland sequin mix and splattered some gold watercolor around the card. Finally, I added a border of Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink around the edges of the card and then heat embossed with more of the Holographic embossing powder and painted the 3 trees in the back of the card with more of the same gold watercolor.
