Beautiful photos. Love the way you isolated the exterior photo in the circle. The BG paper is great. Love the added touch of the derby hat and the flower vase...Carol
Just heard that Churchill had to put his home up for sale twice, but friends bought it and let him live there for his lifetime. Who would have thought such a thing of such a famous person. Great photos. Love the Union Jack design! Great page!
Marvelous photos, gorgeous page!!!! Love, love, love the stenciled background and all of the distressing and inking; your potted plant is genius!
Of course, you had to do this page!!!! Seriously, safe travels to you all..
Very interesting! Thank you for sharing. But you really are devoted to scrapping on vacation and taking stuff to do it with? I agree with hubby though!
I love this on Petra - this really captures the feel of Churchhill - love the Great Britian feel of this one and the way only the upper right Union Jack has the color (would have overpowered the photos if they all did) so I love the way you islolated just that one. Even the title is perfect. And of course the photos are perfect! Awesome layout.
We visited the Winston Churchill exhibition yesterday which left quite an impression! And since I had nothing else to do last night I thought I scrap one last page before my Germany visit. All I got from hubby was tutting and much shaking of the head - I know, I cannot help it, I am a scrapaholic.
I stencilled the UK flag on Kaisercraft paper for added texture and "grunge". I used smoothies to blend the inks to achieve the faded look. I also added distressed edges, staples and ephemera from Tim Holtz and Craft O'Clock.
