I didn't realize that Manta was the largest port in Ecuador! Very interesting. Love teh traditional looking red and white striped lighthouse. Great photos of all the fishing boats!
Love the tuna swimming across the top and the bottom of the page. I remember that Manta was huge in the tuna industry! There is a big statue there of the men pulling in the nets. I've never seen the tuna being put on the boats like this! Great photos!
Sounds like you had a great day in Manta! Love that you found a good tour there. We've always stayed near the port and walked around - next time we need to find a tour more like the one you were on! I love the punch you used on this one - don't think I've seen it before - it's a different one to me!
Our shore excursion was done, and we headed back to Manta. We saw a traditional Ecuadorian home and ship/boat repair shop right on the beach! We so enjoyed our first day in Ecuador!
