Journaling reads: These photos were taken on a trip to St. Augustine, Florida back in 1959. In the photo on the left, Dorothy is posing with Ricky, Gail and Jerry. The photo on the right is Jerry and Ricky at Castillo de San Marcos National Monument. It was built between 1672-1695 and is the oldest masonry fortification in the continental U.S. It was built by the Spanish to defend Florida and the Atlantic trade route. The park covers an area of 25 acres.
