Idea from kath-allthatglitter.blogspot. I used an 8x8 canvas from Michaels. I used Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass and Speckled Egg and spritzed with water. After that dried I spritzed Distress Spray Stain in Gathered Twig. I added a stencil card and used Distress Oxide Ink Black soot. I then embossed with Hickory Smoke Embossing Glaze (TH) using Chocolate Baroque Rubber Stamps Indian Textiles UA5SP0413 the castle stamp, flower and paisley. I added collage paper Document #TH93951 using Distress Collage Medium in matte. I used Sizzix Thinlits #665201 (big butterfly) and used Distress Oxide Crackling Campfire and Rusty Hinge working from the inside of butterfly to the outside using Ground Espresso. Once dried I embossed using Candied Apple glaze in center of butterfly and outward using Fired Brick and on the top of the wings I again used Candied Apple and Fired Brick. I used a very dark brown Posca pen #22 on the wings. I mounted the butterfly using YES paste. For the smaller butterfly I used Sizzix Thinlits # 661802 using Distress Stain in Patina and again with Candied Apple Embossing glaze in center of the butterfly and in the outside of the wings used Vintage photo Distress Oxide Ink. I used Sizzix Thinlits #665221 for the flower and used card stock. I ended by spritzing Distress Stain in Speckled Egg on TH quote chips Theories and adhered with YES paste. I really love this look and reminds me of India in the hot summer,,
