Although I generally do not make "duplicate" cards (except at Christmas), an aunt on my dad's side and an uncle on my mother's side share a birthday week, and I do tend to make similar cards for their birthdays.

I used mica spray stains and sprays for the leaves and feathers, as well as adding some solid foils. The cards are fairly simple, but with a touch of elegance. I chose to use a simple textured embossing folder, too, and opted not to use another foil mat. I popped the mat panels up with a very thin foam tape, and used some dimensionals to pop up the foil leaf and feather on their respective cards.
