I started with a light purple cardstock because the outfit in the photo was purple. After trimming the paper from American Crafts Paige Evans Garden Shoppe I placed it to leave a border of purple, then folded a corner over and held it with a purple brad. The photo was trimmed to a 4" square and matted on paper from Echo Park's Its Springtime collection. The photo was then matted on a rectangle of blue glitter paper that had been trimmed with an edging punch. Flowers and ribbons in coordinating colors were added. The title, cut from off white vinyl was placed diagonally in the empty corner. Three pink gem stones were added as well. When cutting a title from vinyl I find it easier to weld 2 or 3 letters together then place the groupings together on the layout. Words that are entirely welded together tend to curl and stick together, making placement more difficult.
