This is such a beautiful page. A very touching heartfelt page. Life goes on.... what a perfect title, you have been so kind to me and I wish I knew how to comment here, but I don't. It sounds like you have become an amazing strong kindhearted person and I wish you the best as you begin raising your grandchildren. This page is such a beautiful tribute. Kudos for doing it and sharing some of your feelings with us. Have a wonderful Easter, Michelle

Very nice, love the swirls and the flowers. Great journalling, emotional honesty is very hard to put onto paper.
what an incredibly heartwarming layout, I'm sure that your children would all love a copy of this. your sorrow is almost palpable yet how you overcame it is the most amazing part, just beautiful.
Bedsides this being such a beautiful and meaningful LO, it is so sad and heartwarming at the same time. I know the feeling of emptiness, especially for our children. My children don't have ANY grandparents. You and your kids have been blessed.
I think this one shouldn't be rated at all - it's a perfect one, that truly reached the bottom of my heart. Thank you for that touching, honest and just wonderful journaling. Perfect title.
wow...I cannot even imagine. How strong you are!! Amazing journaling...I'm so glad that things turned out and you were able to find someone to love you all.
How very sad. I can't imagine the 'knock at the door'. And what beautiful children you have here. How approriate the title is...yes, life does go on, and I'm glad you found happiness and a daddy for your children.

This made me cry. It is great that you are able to scrap this. Beeautiful tribute. Great job.
As I type through my watering eyes. Bless you!! Your layout is beautiful and the memory is heartbreaking but you journalled it beautifully. I could not pin point what I like best about the lo because everything thing about it is perfect!!!
I would like to stop crying before I write this...but I can't. Thank you for sharing this with others. Not only are you creative and talented but you are an inspiring, brave, and amazing woman. I know someone who has also endured the same loss as you...she has two older daughters and her son was not yet born when she lost her husband. Truly amazing how life does go on. And you captured the true meaning of that in your LO. I love the antiquing on the photo and the rose paper. I absolutely love the swirls. Thank you for this.
That brought tears to my eyes to read your journaling. I can only imagine the courage it took to go on without him and to have your son without him being there. I can't even imagine. I'm sure he's looking down and you and is very proud. This is a beautiful lo. I love the way the flowers look with the paper. And your Mother's Day picture is beautiful too. I like the way you put his picture in the corner. It's just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!
My LO for "Imperfect Life" challenge from Tara. (I scanned the photo in and inset a small headshot of my children's father in the upper right hand corner). Journaling is hidden - and reads: Life does go on. Even when you think it won’t. That’s how I felt on the night (7/24/78) the state trooper came to our door to tell me you had died. I felt like my heart had been torn in half. I don’t remember much about the next couple of weeks, except that awful empty feeling. If it hadn’t been for these two girls (and our son on the way), I don’t know if I could have gone on without you in my life. You always told me I needed to be stronger - I am now. You always said I need to be more dependent on my abilities - I am now. This picture of the children and me was made the first Mother’s Day that we were without you. How my heart breaks that you never got to meet our son. Our children are grown now, with children of their own. I married a wonderful man, who has been a great Daddy to our children. It doesn’t seem possible that it’s been 29 years, yet it has. During these 29 years, I have always had moments that I wished you could be here -- like the first day of school, baptisms, graduations, weddings, and the births of our grandchildren. In my heart, I believe that you were here, and I know that you would be proud of the adults that our children have become.
