My sweet Kitty. I tried to make a page that looks as soft and sweet as my Kitty. Kitty is her name.
She is the most unique kitty Ive ever had the pleasure to live with.
Before she came to live with us her momma left her and her brother and sisters in a farmers barn when they were just a few days old. The farmer brought the kittens into his house and raised them feeding them with an eye dropper. We had asked at the vet if there were any free kittens available, and we were told about the farmers kittens.
She loved to join us when we went to walk in the woods. We walk our dogs in the woods daily for exercise. She would tag along behind, and start a yowling when we got to far ahead. The path in the woods went all the way down to the river. She would watch from the river bank while the rest of us swam and played in the water. And often when we were ready to go home she gave us trouble because she wanted to stay having spotted a bird or something to watch in the brush. We would have to catch and carry her all the way back up the hill home. Boy our little kitty would feel very heavy at those times...lol
Shes 12yrs old now. We moved to a different house away from the river and to a much wilder place. With many more wild animals around that might want to eat her. She is not young and quick any more so we dont let her outside at all. She spends her days lounging like a diva. In various spots she has designated as hers around the house. Her favorite spot is on the dining room table in a huge wooden bowl lined with a soft quilted blanket I put there just for her. She is right in the center of everything and will meow a little greeting to us to come over and pet her, and ... oh yah, you can bring a treat with you to if you please! She always reward us with purring.
