Jane recently got a new outfit to wear to special occasions. I placed the striped paper horizontally to mimic the horizontal stripes in her shirt and then hand stitched with a backstitch and coordinating thread (I use all 6 strands of thread for ultimate thickness and dimension) across each stripe. After stitching I added my photos and then cascaded embellishments tone-on-tone down the stripes. Simple, but effective! Precious memories documented and preserved for all time :)
