This is our four children back in 2000. Journaling reads:
In the early spring of 1999, Joshua had to have surgery on his foot. So, we wound up pulling him out of school for the remainder of the year and homeschooling him. It wasnt long before we had pulled Adam, Sarah, and Benjamin out for the remainder of that year. Joshua was in 8th grade, Adam was in 6th grade, Sarah was in 4th grade and Benjamin was in 2nd grade. So began our homeschool adventure which lasted for ten years until Benjamin had graduated. We had some rough moments starting out, but as the years went by it got easier each year. I figured out what I was doing and the kids figured out what was expected. Also, as each one graduated, the workload lessened on me. This poem became a motto of sorts for us and I had the children memorize it.
This photo was taken on September 5, 2000
which was the first day of school with Benjamin starting 4th grade, Sarah starting 6th grade, Adam starting 8th grade and Joshua starting 10thgrade.
This is a very simple page. I just fussy cut the photo of my kids and made a little fence to place them behind. I did some journaling and added the poem by Robert Frost and a few little school stickers. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
