While homeschooling Autumn for 1st Grade (2020-21), we read several of Benjamins old Thomas the Tank Engine readers. We also pulled out his old videos of Thomas. When I told Autumn about Thomas being one of Uncle Benjamins favorites and that he even had Thomas toys, she wanted to know if I still had them and could she play with them. I told her that she would have to ask Benjamins permission to play with his treasured toys, and she did. He told her that as long as she was very careful with them and always put them back away in the basement, she could play with them. To this day, she still asks me to get out the Thomas toys for her to play with. Journaled on June 22, 2023
I had fun with this page, especially creating the little border across the bottom. I made the trace using a fence punch and cutting narrow silver strips for the rails. The rest is just stickers and pp. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
