Brief background. My parents were married in 1951. My mother died in 1967, my father died in 1985. My grandfather on the left died in 1973 and I don’t believe I ever met him as he divorced my grandmother probably around the time I was born. All my other grandparents are deceased as well, hence the 2 black ribbons. I had never even seen my parents wedding photos until last year (likely due to above situations). Talk about being dysfunctional! So now - some 50 years later – I will attempt to scrap my parent’s photos. It is with a sense of melancholy that I begin this bittersweet endeavor. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~

So here are “My Parents & My Grandparents”. The card inside has their name, date of birth and date of death. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I hope this is ok for the scraps. Originally this was done on pink background paper, but I didn’t like how it looked so I ripped it apart, but I managed to save the heart. (the pink paper did make the third ruffle on the heart). In a way I unintentionally turned it into a scrap. (don’t look close but you can see some ink from the previous stamping. It’s a goof. ) The paper behind the picture is a scrap. The small hearts are scraps; the fiber and ribbons are all scraps. The little flowers are leftovers from scrappin’ with my daughter-in-laws mother. And the jewel on the card is from my sister’s stash!
