this is so fun with the circles and the pics of everyone rolling! The green in those photos is great, too! Love how you played it up with the colors of the lo.
Very fun! Great action shots! I love your colors, the shapes, the pp, and the textured cs. The fiber on the tag and the wavy title are also nice touches. I especially love the waves going across the two pages, and I agree that your photo placement goes with the flow of things. I also like how you made the one circle at the top bleed off the page, as well as K's ideas for matting the title. My only critique is that I expect to see "hills" at the end of your title somewhere.
I personally love this page and the chaos of it all matches the event! It sounds like something i would also do in a heartbeat, how fun!! I love the waves and love the title too.
My comments are basically the same as the left side except some how the green circles seem to be more predominant on this side. Maybe just lighting... I really like the flow of the title. The whole thing really makes you think of hills. Great job!
Here, too, ink the edges of the pp circles. Also, the " S " in the title that you put on the pp circle is a little bit lost-may be you can out line it with black pen and the rest of the title too. Love the colors and great photos!
HI Sharon.
Commenting on this is very difficult for me because I am such a linear scrapper and I don't do nor like the photo placement, but everyone else seems to love it so I know it's personal preference instead of design. I just had to explain myself. Lovelovelove the colors you chose, they make your photos really stick out. I also dig the curves in the background, did you use the bo bunny flex ruler? I think you should add something behing the title {which I am guessing is from your new quickutz? I loves it} such as circles matting the first letter of each word?
I absolutely love how you did the different shapes of the photos. At first, it looked very chaotic.. but it really does fit the way it is. great title and little wave you got going on. love the colors. I'm not sure, but I think i would have made this page the left page.. just because of the title. But, that's just my preference. Awesome LO though.. you did a great job on this one.
I have to talk digi for one sec...I see the point about the title here...if it was digi I would say "add a drop shadow, preferably in white" so I guess my point is that a copy of the letters in white behind the green would 'pop' them. I don't mind it as-is though...you've made the two-pager & the multi-layout rock!
All of the same points I made on the last page totally go with this page too. The only thing is the title to me seems to get lost. I really like that its wavy. Great job!
I am copying my comments from the coordinating page, because that is how I roll. OMG, I love this. It looks like so much fun! The LO absolutely conveys the fun that you guys had. Not even going to mention, how impressed, once again, I am with your multi-photos, but I am so thinking it. Also, at first blush (no pun intended, well maybe a little), I thought the photos are kinda chaotic, but once I looked at the photos themselves. I love how they tumble on the page. It creates the feeling of gravity in action, Sir Newton. I love your journaling and the whole thamn ding! You rock!
This is my response to both SHCG Multiple Photo Challenge as well as the Lucky 7 Contest (and whatever other category this may fulfill, LOL!). Journaling: “After a hearty family brunch at IHOP, we headed for the beach, passing the San Luis Hotel. The kids couldn't resist rolling down its grassy hill. After a while I realized this was probably my best chance of fulfilling my dream to roll over a golf course one day, so I joined them! It was so fun that Greg & Jon started rolling too. Lots of laughs as we tumbled down, some of us repeatedly, while Dad, Mom, Shirley & Sally enjoyed the sight without joining in on the dizzying activity themselves!” I hand-cut the background waves. Used my Quickutz Squeeze Tool (bought 2nd hand at a great price) for the first time ever on this LO. The chipboard piece says “Galveston 11/2004.” (Note the stitching makes a few circles appear irregular & the scan cuts off the right side a little). TFL :)
