I have an older friend in my congregation who is leaving. He wears his cowboy boots everywere, even with his dress clothes. He actually wears them enough that he's earned the nick name, 'Woody,' after the charactor in 'Toy Story.'
I recently bought these two cool types of felt on clearance at Wal Mart and they worked out perfectly!
I don't know if you can see, but I machine stitched along the outside edges and then did a few stiches down the middle to add some decoration. The sole and heal are three thicknesses of cardstock and then I've hand drawn the shading and what not. I'm totally tickled with how this looks!
