The decorating of trees began in Europe long ago. Candies and cookies were primarily used to express thankful hearts for our "daily bread," as well as providing a Christmas treat for the children. Legend has it that the candy cane represents the crook of a shepherd and on the tree represent the shepherds who, in the field on that Holy Night - heard the angels sing and came to worship the newborn King. So, when I look at a candy cane hanging from the tree, this is what I think of (rather legend or fact, I think it's what's in the heart that matters). Thanks for looking!

**Used bazzill swiss dot cs, added offray ribbon then matted piece of baz oct. bling, attached candy cane w/ribbon, prima leaf & poinsettia and cranberry stems, added MM holyberry, LYB glitter brads and red baz photo corners. Thanks for looking!
