This is a housewarming card for my brother and sister-in-law. It is a scraplift, with permission, of Lorie's ("Old Misery") card. Her original beauty can be found here: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/734617/view/3819431/-1/108/0.html.
I do not have a brick wall embossing folder, so I used my crackle folder on my Cuttlebug, which reminds me of that stucco type of exterior of a house. I punched all of the paper flowers and put a bead in the centre of each, and I added in some Flower Soft for filler. The bike was cut on my Cricut, using my "Sweethearts" cartridge; I cut the grass using my "Kate's ABC's" cartridge; and I cut the lamp using my "Sentimentals" cartridge. The hearts and a few leaves were cut on my Cricut and I had them on hand already. Some of the leaves were hand cut. The window and fern pieces were a gift from Lynne ("LynneJ"), the lace that I used as a valance was from Elizabeth ("EAPipkin").
THANK YOU TO ALL YOU LADIES FOR THE INSPIRATION AND SCRAPPY ITEMS.
AND THANK YOU TO ALL WHO LEAVE A COMMENT TO PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE.
