Sympathy Card

I needed a sympathy card for the family of one of my regulars at the Retirement Home that passed away last week. He was the only guy in the craft class and he came every month for 3 years. I will miss him. I'm taking a break from doing crafts there but I still go see them as I grew close to them in three years.

I was making cards and came across my Basic Grey Origins paper and saw that it had a sticker sheet with it. Well, Scrapanda has a sticker challenge and I need to use mine up so I thought maybe I can make a card with those. Then later that day I was browsing on Scrapbook.com and saw this card http://www.scrapbook.com/gallery/image/card/5590481.html
I thought the swirls from the Basic Grey set and the flowers might work. The flowers were too small and weren't working. I then tried this big flower and liked it....so I added the leaves and flourish and called it done. My husband was as impressed as I was.
