My husband at the Lawler Veteran's Memorial Dedication in June of 2008.
Lawler is a teeny-tiny little town of about 400 souls, just south of the Minnesota border. My father-in-law was born and raised in Lawler and I found it somewhat amazing, that in a town this size they would have enough veterans to even have a memorial. They do indeed and of all the veterans, eight of them were my father-in-law and his 7 brothers. :) My father-in-law never lived to see the dedication, but I know his 7 children were very proud of him...as was I.
Happy 4th of July y'all!
