For the next two weeks the Paper Dolls will be on a self Beauty campaign. We are not allowed to cut ourselves down or be negative to ourselves. Thus this challenge was created! the Challenge is as follows:
__Take a self portrait (new), write a note to yourself about why you are beautiful, make a list of 5 physical features of yours and list why you appreicate them, write 5 personality Traits you like about yourself, 5 things you are grateful for, and 5 achievements you are proud of. The rest was up to us.
This is what i came up with...Thanks for looking. It's been a great lesson for me:...
___Title: It's what is inside..that counts_______
I am Beautiful.. I may not be “beautiful” is the world’s perception, but inside
I know I am a beautiful person. I have so many talents to offer the world and
Sometimes it’s so easy to forget them. I have been challenged today, to make a note
To myself, reminding me that it’s not about how others perceive me, it’s about
The person I am inside. The person who loves, the person who cares, and the person
Who Like others, loves to be loved in return. It can be such a battle sometimes within
ourselves, to think we are good enough. I have come to realize it’s basically a state of mind.. I need to stop looking at my image and picking it to pieces! Most of my ‘flaws’ are invisible to everyone else but me. I have such a bad habit of standing in front of the mirror and pickin myself apart. Sometimes it brings me down. I have to learn to stop this..and start believing I am beautiful..!
This is why I am Beautiful:
-My Eyes…I do love the color, blue with a bit of yellow around the edges. My eyes
See the beauty is others, but not always in myself. Today I put on new eyes!
-My Hair…although it’s not always “fixed”, I love the texture.
-My Wrists..They are dainty and small and remind me of the family I come.
-My Nose…This is a tough one, because I have a love/hate relationship with mynose most of the time, but it reminds me of my dad, so I wouldn’t change it for the world.
-My Teeth…I’ve been blessed with the most beautiful teeth, it took a lot of work to get them there, but thanks to my parents, I love them.
-I am so outgoing. I don’t know a stranger most of the time, I just love to talk
-I am Happy most of the time, although I have my worries, I try to keep positive and have a happy outlook.
-I’ll Try anything once, I don’t want to say I missed out on something.
-I’m determined - I don’t like to give up easily, once I start something, I must finish it!
-I’m caring - I love people, and love to make them feel better.
I am Grateful For:
-My Family, I have been blessed with the best, most supportive family. They are always there for me, no matter how bad it is.
-My son - Austin is the light in my life. He can always brighten the darkest days with his sweet smile and innocent words.
-My Husband - I have been through some hard times in the past, but Joe never gives up on me, he loves me and treasures me through all my insecurities. I am so lucky to have in in my life.
-My possessions - I have been blessed with all I need and some things I don’t.
-My Faith - Without God in my life, I would be nothing. He is a constant reminder that things happen for a reason, and it’s my job to carry out his plan for me.
I am Beautiful….It’s True!
