Wow! This is gorgeous! I love the colours of the paper and how you combined them so beautifully. Those chipboard stars are divine; I'm still waiting for QK to come out with a star die that I like! This pic is great! This is headed right to my faves!
This is just adorable - these are some of my favorite BG pps! Love the leaves, the stars, the circle - such a pretty design! Love how you softened the edges of the photo too! Soooo pretty - a Fave!!!! I have to check out that blog!
Love the way you always include "hidden" journaling (which was delightful to read). The pp's are lovely; the layout is truly charming and little Jacob is so handsome!!
Oh, your journaling just makes my heart melt! What a gorgeous design - the papers are so beautiful - color combinations so warm - love the floral and stripes - both of which truly compliment the background in his picutre. Chipboard stars wtih doodling - so cool. He is a handsome young man! What a delightful smile and expression. LO is such a nice mix of little boy/masculine feel. Excellent - - love it all - makes me smile. Thanks for sharing, M
My DGS, Jacob. This is his "school" (daycare) photo from October. I was asked to be the guest designer for Creative Scrappers blogspot. I was asked to do a layout based on a sketch. This blog is a great sketch challenge blog...Check it out! I used BG Mellow papers. The leaves are traced from the mellow chipboard pieces, the brown stems are a QK die. Stars are chipboard covered with gold paper and doodled on. The title letters are BG - Wilma - that I colored using ink and "for you" is rub on letters. Journaling is tucked behind the photo at the top and reads:
We fall for that sweet smile, those adorable dimples, your beautiful blue eyes, and your delightfully happy personality. We fall for your hugs and kisses, your silly jokes, and your teasing, too! You are such an adorable young man…how could anyone resist “falling” for you! October 2008 – Kids Discovery Daycare
