wow.......wowowow...this reallly caught my eye in the gallery!! i love the design of this lo!! every element seems to pop...and i love the flourishes!!!! dont get me started on that picture.....sooooo adorable...and i love how you placed the lyrics to the left of the lo....really unique design....and VERY beautifully crafted!!!
This is a lo that is about one of Owen's lullabies that I really love.
Lyrics:
sometimes i still can’t believe how great it feels that you’re here with me you’ve changed my whole life going to spend all my days and nights looking out for you
chorus- i will be the sun on your rainy days i’ll be there beside you when you cannot find your way i’ll be at reach when your world goes insane baby, i will love you always
life’s too short to waste on regrets, so chase your dreams and don’t forget there’s nothing you can do to make me turn my back on you i won’t let you down
i won’t pretend that i can keep you from getting hurt and i can’t make sure that you don’t fail but i can hold you up when your strength is gone and help you make things right when they go wrong
Journaling reads:
These are the lyrics to a lullaby on Owen's 1st lullaby CD he got from Grandma his 1st Christmas. I've lost the case and the original CD has long since not worked, so I have no idea what it's called or who it's by. Luckily, soon before it died, I ripped it's songs to my computer, so I have it saved.
Anyway, this CD has been played for every sleep, day and night for about 3 years. The songs on this CD always soothed Owen and made him feel safe when he was alone in his room. This particular song is my personal favorite because of how profoundly touched I always feel from the words in this song.
I kind of think of this song as my own pledge to my children. I hope that they will always know how much they mean to me.
