During my spare time, I exchange postcards with people around the world via a web site called Postcrossing. On December 22, 2009, I received a postcard from Iceland. It wasn't really a postcard but a Christmas greeting card. The picture you see at the bottom of the layout is the front of the card. Normally I wait until I receive 4 or more postcards from a country before I'll create a scrapbook page with a photo collage displaying the postcards. However, after hearing about the volcanic eruption I decided to create this page to encourage people to visit Iceland in the future.

Take note of the title. I am impressed with the design because I created the letters from a scanned copy of the card/postcard.

The blue paper you see in the top and bottom corners were leftover from cutting out the blue shadow outline for the title.

Anyways, don't let some volcano eruption stop you from visiting Iceland. Volcano eruptions have happend all over for millions of years. I hope I will be able to visit Iceland someday.
