Caught in the act...my son and daughter at a not so perfect moment! LOL! For this layout I wanted to do simple, so I used the newest sketch from Creative Scrappers - #143. It just seemed to work for this "euwww" photo! The photo was matted with a dark green cardstock. I used October Afternoon papers on an off-white background. The diamond shapes were cut from the Fly a Kite papers and stitched down with some hand stitching (I didn't get it really straight....but that's one of those things you can't "re-do" very well). The title work was cut with the Silhouette from blue cardstock. I'm not even sure that's how you spell what I'm trying to say...but you get the idea. The journaling was printed on vellum and I added a little faux stitching around the edges as well as three blue brads. A really quick and easy layout. Journaling reads:
Really?!! You’re really planning to lick your sister’s face? Euwwwwww!! I don’t know what made me believe that when you two were over 30 years old that you would behave somewhat more “grown-up.” Duh! This photo is proof that the old saying “Growing older is mandatory …. Growing up is optional” is true. Even though you still do things like this to each other, I still love you!
