Here's my November page (finally!) for project 2011. I used papers from Basic Grey's "June Bug" line. Did a little hand-stitching and a little doodled stitching with a signo pen. I used the CuttleBug to cut out my title letters. Journaling reads:
"-got offered $125 per service to play keyboard with the praise band. naturally, I accepted. since, ya know, I currently make $0. nov. 5- the Perdue family reunion. I wasn't really looking forward to it, but it wasn't too bad. that night I got invited to a party @ Joshua's for his birthday. a few of his friends came over & we mostly hung out around his fire pit. it was actually a lot of fun. nov. 6- went to lunch @ Good City w/ Mama & Daddy. my fortune told me to invest in a new hat. so when we went into Marshall's after that & stumbled upon the most adorable hat, I knew it must have been kismet. nov. 19- had a girls' night w/ Nichole & two of her friends. Nichole & I had dinner @ Season's Bistro in McDonough Square- yum! then we picked up the others & headed up to Twain's in Decatur. hung out there for a good while, then went to a bar in Little 5 Points & walked around L5P for a while. it was much-needed & a lot of fun! didn't get home ‘til 3 am, tossed & turned for about an hour, then got up at 6:50 for church & was at church from 7:50 am- 4:00 pm. needless to say, my butt was dragging. oh well. worth it. nov. 21- I've been working out a lot with Nichole & Andrea. a few months ago, I was up to 147 lbs. this morning I weighed 131.5 lbs. feels soo good! nov. 22- the dreaded oral presentation in my philosophy class. this was a big deal for me as I am super shy & loathe being the center of attention. but I sucked it up & did it. and I got perfect scores on both my paper & presentation. and my teacher even wrote a little note that said my presentation was the best of the day! of course...it's possible that she told everyone this. but I shall pretend that she didn't. nov. 24- thanksgiving! this year I am thankful for my family (as always), that I am passing all my classes, & that I have a little money coming in (temporarily).
november went by so fast & just seems like a blur now. school's coming to a close, prepping for finals, holidays are approaching, getting ready for the Christmas program at church, blah, blah, blah...before we know it Christmas will be here, then this year will be over & I'll be done with Project 2011. wow! where in the world has this year gone?!"
Now, I've been thinking about this lately and have come to the decision that after I am done with Project 2011, I probably will not be uploading anything else for a long time. I am uploading my journal pages as I do not want to leave that album incomplete. I'll still be scrapping as often as I can, just not uploading my pages on here. My heart just has not been in it lately. I also feel it unfair to continue to upload when I don't always have the time to go and comment on the work of others. Just know that I am so thankful for those who have been so faithful in always coming by my pages and leaving such encouraging words. It means a lot to me.
