the flowers top left are wonderful! I know you didn't like your braids, but speaking from the side of always having short hair...they are beautiful! I can only imagine what it took to care for them!! Great job of telling your story!

I think this is wonderful. It tells a story, cute photo and I like your 'artistic' nature of this. Wow, long hair for sure. I could never grow mine that long...fell out before it reached mid back.

Oh my, what a wonderful layout with such a sweet photo!! Lovely colors too! I loved reading your story!!! It is amazing what childhood hopes and dreams one has! Did you ever get to realize them?? You are an artist, just look at this lovely work of art you have created here!! I remember the Katy Keene comics, I was a huge fan, and used to draw and scribble all the time too, although I never entered any of the contests! You have brought back some wonderful memories for me with this precious page! Your braids are beautiful!!!

Well this is a favorite for sure! You rocked the challenge. Your braids are wonderful...but was your long hair hard to deal with at that age? I bet your mom cried when they were cut. I have been trying to figure out how to do this challenge and may lift yours. LOL....Reading your journaling makes me realize how much we were alike at that age, although I never had hair as beautiful as yours! I love your choice of papers!
